Current government policy for the NHS is to move care closer to the 'end user'. This means that the local
PCT is moving the care of Type 2 and 'well controlled' type 1 Diabetics to local GP surgeries. The question
is are local GP's capable of providing a good quality of care for the people with Diabetes they treat ?
